What I miss the most.

So I couldn't tell ya why I was thinking about this, but what I miss most about having a woman in my life are the little things! Holding hands, cuddling on the couch watching movies and having someone to text good morning to! Those are the things that put a smile on my face.

Even just that awkward smile/look situation! You know... When you just so happen to look up at them and they look at you a half second after and you smile and they say "what?!?" and you say "oh... nothing..." HAH. Makes me laugh every time!

The little things!

It'll happen

"Someday, someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else."

It'll be an amazingly memorable day.

Because its not possible to get tired of having them around.

As its been told, the saying goes, "you marry your best friend!"
Through thick and thin they're there for you, from the beginning to end!
I came across a statement that made me laugh the other day
a true statement that goes both ways, here's what it had to say...

Dear Girls, the reason you can't find "Mr. Right" is because he's still in the friends zone.

This works for guys too, it isn't one sided, it's just not said in the same tone.
Poisonous relationships, we've been there and seen it happen countless times...
The other person verbally controlling grasps tight with cancerous rhymes.
They take advantage because to them, you don't actually matter that much
Its not apparent cuz love obscures your relational vision and such.
Back to the main, your best friend, the one who never lets you down!
Think about how special they are, they make you smile when you frown.
That best friend knows you better than anybody that's around.
They hold your head up on days you feel like staring at the ground.
So take another look, they might be standing right in front of you...
Helping you not to fall, telling you "tie the laces on your shoe!"

So the above poem started out a couple days ago and flowed right out until the very end. I'm finding more lately that I'm great at starting things, but not the greatest at ending them. I kinda leave things in life unfinished. : P I need to stop that. haha. Definitely not the my best work, but I feel like the message behind it makes sense and has some truth to it! Hope you all enjoy the read.

Smile!

So, yesterday was 1 looooong day!

Started with a switched early shift at work to accomodate an ortho apt in the evening. Work from 6am-4pm and that alone was quite stressful! Left work and headed over to hang out with the lovely ladies at align orthodontics!

I have been privilidged to have my wonderful friend and former roommate Kristen, work on this grill of mine! She is an absolute peach to have around and I'm blessed to have her in my life! She definitely makes the braces experience a plesant one by making me laugh, being her goofy self. Dr. Le actually threatened her to stop "hanging out with me" during my appointments or she'll have someone else work on me! I laughed. It was hella funny!

Speaking of amazing friends, I'm not a referral person. I can talk a person up IF AND ONLY IF I feel like they deserve to be talked up. (there aren't many people I would talk up) because I sometimes have ridiculously high standards and most people. That and I don't like to take blame for "referring" someone that sucks! As humbly as I can possibly say this, "I'm an amazing guy.....!" and most people know this, but to find out that someone is kinda talking me up encourages me to be an even better person than I already am! Not only because it's kinda enlightening, but I also have to live up to the standards that they're setting in my favor! haha. I love the friends I have.

Although some are in my life more than others, I cherish the times spent with each and every one of them equally.

BACK TO THE REST OF MY DAY!

Happy Hour at Beaches! Megan's 21st bday was a blasty blast!
Bought her a nice big strong ace drink, then went out on the town! a hand full of shots and a couple mixed drinks later, she was successfully puking in the bathroom of one of the clubs! haha.

I haven't seen Megan in person, in close to 2 years. Last night we kinda just picked up where our friendship left off and there didn't seem to have a gap! Again, I cherish time well spent.

In the end, I kinda feel like I wrote this blog to just say "Hey, my friends are ephin cool!" because they are! That and to say I have braces.... and I can't wait to have an amazing smile! : D GOODNIGHT!

you're only human.

"we are human. we are all vulnerable. we all make mistakes. we all need to be supported. we all need to be loved. we all need to be accepted. we all need respect. there is no shame in being human, being vulnerable, making mistakes, needing help, needing to be loved, needing to be accepted, or needing respect. it is human nature we are all similar in this way. so, don't feel ashamed, or embarrassed because whether they want to admit it or not, there are approximately six billion other people who are in the exact same boat as you."
